Rude Osolnik Studio Sale

The Osolnik Family Trust in the closing of Rude Osolnik’s Studios in Berea, Kentucky is offering for sale machines and tools that he worked with throughout his lifetime. All of the wood that he amassed is also available for sale. Some items will be posted on individually with pictures and prices. Due to the nature of the sale purchased items will need to be picked up or else buyers will need to make their own shipping arrangements, the trust will not provide shipping services. Arrangements to view, purchase or to pick up can be made from now till the end of June 2006 - call 859-986-3453 to make appointments. We will be having certain weekends where we will be at the studios for public visitations which we will post on the website.

As you can see we have but posted a few pieces of machinery with prices below, and some pictures of the studios to give those who have not seen them a glimpse. Many species of lumber that he used for turning are available. These include exotics as well as Walnut, Cherry, Mahogany, Spalted Maple, Wormy Chestnut and many others. There is several thousand sq ft of veneer as well as odds and ends that he used and accumulated over the years.

In conjunction with the Exhibit of Rude’s work during the Annual American Association of Woodturners 2006 Symposium in Louisville, Kentucky June 22-25 2006 the studios will be open the week of June 19 -26 for viewing, sales and pick ups. The Trust would like for all the sales and pick ups be completed by June 30 2006.
